Our Spring Clinics are designed for players with one or more seasons (club or high school) under their belt and are looking to continue their training going into the summer.

Each weekly session will be 1.5 hours in length with 45 minutes of instruction and 45 minutes of gameplay. Instruction will focus on the major skills of the game with the goal of improving technique across all the major skills needed to play at the competitive level. Gameplay will consist of 4v4 or 6v6 games to get players touches in both an positionally relevant manner as well as foster growing skills across all facets of the game.

    Cost: $200 per player

This clinic series is designed for players who have some competitive experience. We will be running these sessions into intermediate advanced levels based upon skill levels (please see the FAQs below for the skill expectations based on division). FAQS

Q: What session should we sign up for?
A: This is highly dependent on what experience and individual skill level. A quick guide for each level is as follows:

  • Intermediate: Players should have a good grasp of the basic skills of the game (passing, setting, hitting, etc.) as well as a basic understanding of positional responsibilities on the court during rally. They should also understand rotations, basic footwork and movement patterns on the court, and expectations that a coach would have for them on a competitive team. 1+ years on a competitive team is a realistic expectation.

  • Advanced: Players should have a solid foundations in competitive volleyball and realistically looking to compete for a spot on a JV or Varsity team in the fall. Knowing how to execute the skills required for at least one position on the court will be expected as well as familiarity with overall game mechanics and generally used terminology. 3-4+ years on a competitive team is a simple benchmark for this level.

Q: Who should attend this?
A: This program is ideally suited to club players who’s season has ended and are still interested in getting reps and improving their game. Drills that are suited to each skill group will be run to help players say sharp with the addition of gameplay to help them apply, in real-time, the concepts that will be presented in the instruction portion of the clinic.

Q: What can my child expect?
A: The instruction portion will be very similar to what players can expect from a typical practice at the JV or club level - without all the pressure of where they fit on their given “team”. Players will be mixed up each week for gameplay and with up to 24 players across two courts there will be little to no standing around during gameplay activities. Players will be encouraged to take chances and grow their toolbox in order to work toward the next level (be it age group for club or JV/Varsity level in high school).
