T’was The Night Before Tryouts Clinic
MCA is hosting a last minute pre-tryout clinic the night before club tryouts kick off for girls. We will be having 2 sessions - one for beginners/junior players and another for junior/senior players. The goal is to get players some last minute touches, run through a couple drills, and get them primed to do their best over the course of the tryout weekend.

Age/Skill Definitions:
Juniors- Younger players (middle school and/or high school freshmen) who have some experience on the court, have that basic skills down, and could realistically play on a high school JV team.
Beginner - Players that are just getting started with the basic techniques and skills necessary to play volleyball at the competitive level in the future. This is for anyone who is moving beyond backyard/gym class volleyball.
Senior - Players who have significant experience playing at a competitive level (i.e. several years of club and varsity level experience). These players have specialized in a position and have knowledge and skills that are at the collegiate or pre-collegiate level.
Notes:
Junior players are welcome to sign up for both sessions but we reserve the right to bump or limit players should it mean that a beginner or senior would not be able to attend because a junior is taking two spots.
We are age agnostic when it comes to who can sign up for what. Skill and experience is the biggest determining factor and we reserve the right to shuffle players across sessions and on the court as we see fit.
Player Limits:
We have two courts and tons of space at Grace Classical so we are going to get as many players in to get touches as possible. That said, we are trying to keep it to 40 (+/-) per session.

Times: Beginner/Junior - 6 to 7:30 PM, Junior/Senior - 7:30 to 9 PM
